Scribal arts is an English term for "Safrut", the work of a "Sofer" (scribe). The job of a Sofer is to write Sifrei Torah (Torah scrolls), Tefillin, Mezuzot & Megillot, which function as an integral part of daily Jewish life.

To become a Sofer, Moshe has undergone rigorous training programs as well as ordination. Safrut is a time-honored craft, passed down from generation to generation. It is considered to be sacred work, done both in service of our Creator as well as to meet the needs of the Jewish community.

Moshe Braun is available for all manner of Safrut work. Please contact Moshe for more information and to see examples of his writing.
